Hello Guys, Love the website...Hope all is well with you all.. I was a volunteer at your station back in 1989 for a short time. Started off at the old 2 story structure in town and then went to the new location that you are currently at. I was wondering if you had any pictures from the dedication of the station back then, If you do could you possibly email me a copy of some of them. At that time I was the only female volunteer firefighter at Groveville..I was also a volunteer with the rescue squad at Yardville. I am currently a Instructor and a County fire Officer here in the county I live in..It would be nice to see and share any old pictures with my Volunteer firefighters here.. Thank You.. Barbara Carson

Hi guys. Hope all is well down at the firehouse. I miss the fun times we had down there. Unfortunately children got older and priorites changed. Still the 16 plus years down there were some of the best years of my life. Stay well. Jay Johnston Past President

I love the website.Did you know that the guy who saved the woman from the housefire in Groville,NJ on Main St on April,21,2008 was MY DAD!!!!!!!We all call him now our local hero.He was driving by the house when he saw smoke blazing out of the house as black as coal,he jumped out of his truck, while calling 911 he screamed inside the house"Is anyone in there?".There was a response. He went inside and found a eledrly woman in her living room hesitating. In the next room was where the fire had started. He grabbed her by the sholders and guided her out of the burning house. We all cant believe that he went into the building without even thinking what could of happend to him,the most suprising part is that he is NOT a FIREFIGHTER that is right he is NOT. We are all proud of him.

I'd like to make a correction to the caption on one of your old photos. The March of Dimes photo identifies all but the woman in the picture, standing center-left. I believe that is Jean Mushinski who, for many years, was President of the Ladies Auxiliary. She appears to be presenting a check. If someone knows that it is NOT Jean, I stand corrected...but I've known her all my life and it sure looks like her! Jean truly deserves credit, since she worked tirelessly for GFC for many years!

HI, very nice web-site. I'm not a fireman, but i have also Dalmatina dog and i interested very much about history of this dogs. And so i have found this site. Can somebady help me with some old pictures of Dalmatian dogs as firehouse dog? Or maybe with some old story? Greetings to Ember from our Lenc. I have also a web-site (actually Lenc have this site) and last year he has established also dog pen frineds club. If somebody interested i can send link to my site. Of course could be very nice if Ember is ready to tell his story about firehouse dog for Lenc home page. In Slovenia we have'nt this tradition with Dalmatian dogs and firehouses, but my oppinion this is very nice (and probably can also help by hurt persons in fire, or?) And at the end sorry for my bad English.

I hope all is going well. I wish I could have stopped in over the summer to see how everyone was doing. I'm finally up at college in Boston, having a lot of fun though...
I really wanted to thank everyone again for the internship experience this past spring. I had a lot of fun and learned quite a bit, even if it wasn't exactly the station's busiest month. (I'm guessing you guys are still on track to break 1000 calls)
In any case, I just felt like dropping in and leaving a message on the site, I still check it - and love seeing the updates.
Stay safe, Scott Steber
